Chief Complaint: Fever

a. History: Malaise, myalgias, weight loss, arthralgia and “coldness” in her upper extremities

b. Physical Exam:  Hypertension, diminished or absent pulses

Magnetic Resonance Areriogram*      

*Favor using MRA instead of CT Angiogram to evaluate for TAK since it avoids the radiation exposure and risks of iodinated contrast of CTA; similarly, if periodic repeat studies are anticipated, MRA is again the preferred choice.
